Le lundi 6 mai, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de terminale des sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s Histoire-G\u00e9ographie, G\u00e9opolitique, Sciences Politiques et Sciences \u00c9conomiques et Sociales ont eu l’opportunit\u00e9 d’accueillir Thomas Zribi. Ce sc\u00e9nariste, journaliste, grand reporter et r\u00e9dacteur en chef \u00e0 Radio Nova, est \u00e9galement reconnu pour ses documentaires et reportages, notamment ceux portant sur le Rwanda. Il est venu \u00e9changer avec les \u00e9l\u00e8ves autour de son roman graphique co-r\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec le graphiste Damien Roudeau : Rwanda : \u00e0 la poursuite des g\u00e9nocidaires<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans cette \u0153uvre, Zribi retrace l’enqu\u00eate d’Alain et Dafroza Gauthier, un couple qui consacre sa vie depuis le g\u00e9nocide de 1994 \u00e0 traquer les g\u00e9nocidaires rwandais r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s en France. Les Gauthier rassemblent des preuves et des t\u00e9moignages pour que ces criminels soient jug\u00e9s pour leurs actes contre les Tutsis. Ce travail minutieux et difficile est au c\u0153ur du roman graphique et du documentaire du m\u00eame nom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors de la rencontre, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont abord\u00e9 divers sujets avec Thomas Zribi, notamment son travail d’investigation, la responsabilit\u00e9 de la France dans le g\u00e9nocide, et la situation actuelle de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 rwandaise. Cet \u00e9change leur a permis de revoir un aspect essentiel de leur programme concernant la justice populaire au Rwanda apr\u00e8s le g\u00e9nocide, et d’approfondir leur compr\u00e9hension de la relation entre histoire, m\u00e9moire et justice \u00e0 travers l’exemple des Gauthier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rwanda : \u00e0 la poursuite des g\u00e9nocidaires<\/em> raconte l’histoire d’Alain et Dafroza Gauthier qui, depuis plus de vingt ans, traquent les g\u00e9nocidaires rwandais cach\u00e9s en France. Apr\u00e8s que les proches de Dafroza ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cim\u00e9s en 1994, alors qu’elle vivait \u00e0 Reims avec son mari et ses trois enfants, le couple a d\u00e9couvert que des tueurs avaient trouv\u00e9 refuge en France. Ils ont alors d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de consacrer leur vie \u00e0 la justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alain et Dafroza se rendent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement au Rwanda pour collecter des preuves et des t\u00e9moignages dans le but d’ouvrir des enqu\u00eates judiciaires en France. Cependant, ils se heurtent \u00e0 de nombreux obstacles : la lenteur de la justice, les h\u00e9sitations politiques, les menaces, et l’\u00e9puisement personnel. Cet album permet non seulement de comprendre le d\u00e9roulement du g\u00e9nocide et sa pr\u00e9paration, mais aussi de prendre conscience de l’injustice fran\u00e7aise : bien que l’on estime entre 200 et 400 g\u00e9nocidaires pr\u00e9sum\u00e9s vivant en France, le pays refuse de les extrader vers le Rwanda et met des ann\u00e9es, voire des d\u00e9cennies, \u00e0 les juger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette rencontre et l’\u0153uvre de Thomas Zribi ont offert aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves une perspective unique et poignante sur la qu\u00eate de justice et la m\u00e9moire du g\u00e9nocide rwandais, enrichissant ainsi leur compr\u00e9hension des enjeux historiques et contemporains.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
